Meet The Founder
Breanna Dane
Breanna Dane is the founder and owner of Hands Up Interpreting & Consulting, LLC, a woman-owned language-access agency established in 2020.
Breanna earned her Bachelor of Science in American Sign Language/English Interpreting from Valdosta State University and her Master of Science in ASL/English Interpreting from the University of North Florida. She is a Texas Board for Evaluation of Interpreters (BEI) certified interpreter.
Throughout her professional career, Breanna has gained experience in a variety of interpreting environments, including K–12 education, postsecondary education, healthcare, legal, religious, and community settings. Her diverse experience has provided her with an understanding of the unique communication needs, professional expectations, and accessibility considerations associated with different interpreting environments.
Recognizing the growing need for reliable, professional language-access services, Breanna established Hands Up Interpreting & Consulting in 2020. What began as a passion for bridging communication barriers has developed into an agency serving school districts, businesses, and organizations throughout Texas.
Today, Breanna oversees the company’s operations, client relationships, interpreter coordination, and continued service development. Under her leadership, Hands Up has expanded its focus to include virtual educational interpreting, spoken-language services, CART, TypeWell, and additional communication-access solutions.
Her commitment to professional excellence, accessibility, and meaningful communication continues to guide the growth of Hands Up Interpreting & Consulting.
Sarah Sedlacek
Sarah holds a Bachelor's of Applied Arts and Science degree in Practical Theology from Howard Payne University, an Associate of Applied Science degree in Sign Language Interpretation from South West Collegiate Institute for the Deaf, and is a state certified teacher. She has been a teacher since 2014 and has been involved with the Deaf community since 2008.
Gina Watson
Gina is a Level III BEI certified interpreter.
Simuka Dittmer
Simuka is currently working on her Master's Degree at the University of North Florida in the Educational Interpretation Concentration Program. She is located in Oklahoma.
